This policy explains what personal information daerdo.com collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only.

Who we are

This website is operated by 广州达耳科技有限公司 (Guangzhou Daer Technology Co., Ltd.), a company registered in Guangzhou, China (Unified Social Credit Code 914401013211050068). We supply over-the-counter hearing devices to distributors and private-label brands.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry or request a sample or datasheet, the form asks for:

• Your name and business email address
• Company name and company website (optional)
• Phone number (optional)
• Your role, and the market or country you sell into
• The product model you are interested in, and your message

We ask for business contact details because we sell to businesses. Please do not send us sensitive personal information — including health information about yourself or anyone else — through this form. We are a manufacturer and cannot give medical advice.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we receive:

• Standard server and CDN log data — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps
• Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TF670F5L73), covering pages viewed, approximate country, referring source and similar usage measures

Cookies and analytics consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. We do not run a cookie banner, because we configure consent by region instead:

• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default. No analytics cookies are set for these visitors; Google receives only cookieless signals used for aggregate modelling.
• Elsewhere, analytics and advertising storage are set to granted, so standard Google Analytics measurement applies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics in any region using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the site or to send us an enquiry.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, quote products, and arrange samples or datasheets
• To keep a record of business correspondence and orders
• To understand which pages and guides are useful, so we can improve them
• To keep the site secure and available

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a newsletter because you asked about a product.

Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA and UK)

• Steps prior to a contract — handling your enquiry, quotation and sample request.
• Legitimate interests — running and securing the website, keeping records of business dealings, and understanding aggregate site usage.
• Consent — where analytics or advertising storage applies in regions that require it.

Who processes your data

We keep the list of processors short, and these are the ones that can see data from this site:

• Supabase — hosts the database where enquiry submissions are stored.
• Resend — delivers the notification and reply emails triggered by an enquiry.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics, subject to the regional consent settings above.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and protection for the site; it processes request data in transit.

We do not share your information with anyone else except where we are required to by law, or where you have asked us to (for example, arranging a shipment with a courier).

International transfers

Our company is based in China, and our service providers operate in other countries, so information you send us may be stored or processed outside your own country — including outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers and limit the data to what is needed to answer your enquiry.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries and business correspondence: kept while we have an active or prospective business relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping.
• Analytics data: retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
• Server and CDN logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry record at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. California residents may also request details of the categories of information collected and ask us not to sell it — we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period, and within one month where the GDPR applies. If you are in the EEA or UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. Over-the-counter hearing aids are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, enquiry data is stored in an access-controlled database, and only people who need it in order to reply to you can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
